This year, join iLearn Schools 5th Annual Be Grateful 5K as we give thanks for all the things we are grateful for. By participating, you not only celebrate a morning Thanksgiving run, but you are also giving back to the community.All proceeds earned from this event will go towards the scholarship fund for our deserving high school scholars. - All finishers will receive a medal and headband.
- Award Medals will also be awarded to overall 1st, 2nd, 3rd place.

- This will be professionally “chip timed” by Rock Race Timing. They will be using disposable timing chips.

The Upper Saddle River 5K is one of the largest Thanksgiving races in New Jersey, USA. The previous 25th Annual USR 5K Run was held Thanksgiving Morning, hosted by the USR Recreation Commission, USR Race Committee and the Bergen Highlands Rotary Club. There were over 2,200 runners and walkers who enjoyed a crisp, and sunny day. They work hand in hand with the USR Police, Fire, Ambulance and DPW departments to ensure the safety of the event. Some of the organizations benefiting from run proceeds include: Center for Food Action in Mahwah, USR Volunteer Fire Dept, West Bergen Mental Health Program, Social Discovery Autism, USR Volunteer Ambulance, USR Education Foundation, USR Boys & Girl Scouts, D.A.R.E and many more.

- Chip time results are live results by split-second racing.

- Awards for top 3 overall and age group, male, and female.
- Age groups 8 and under to 70 and over.
- New is this year’s High School Team Scoring
- Minimum of 5 members on a team to score, all must be pre-registered)
- You can only be in one team category, either Family or High School, not both.
